Description

The Undergraduate Degree Program in Social Sciences covers the basic principles at the core of various disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, philosophy, law, medicine, psychology and history. Methods of social research, Social Services legislation, applied statistics to social sciences, models, theories, techniques and instruments for the implementation of social initiatives, the cultural implications of Welfare as well as organizational principles for emphasizing the primacy of the individual and the role of communication in private firms and public institutions are all subjects that will be analyzed in some detail.

This Degree Program is designed to develop a professional figure able to deal effectively with situations of social degradation and, at the same time, to program and implement integrated social initiatives aimed at improving the social welfare of the specific context.
