Among the three legal sciences, legal sociology deals with the efficacy of law, general theory deals with the validity of law and finally philosophy of law deals with its justice, a term with very dense subjective implications that makes this third discipline far less strategic than the validity-efficacy axis that connects the other two. This axis passes through a genealogy of authors that from Kant to von Savigny , from Stammler to Kelsen finally from Luhmann to Alexy has seen law become increasingly abstract , artificial, positive , conceptual to the point of being able to be defined as the mathematics of society in scenarios in which demography, technology and development concur with legislative expansion to the redesign of the world order in which even Welfare and its policies and services are rethought and redesigned. In this sense, the course in addition to the institutional part ( Blocks 1 and 2 of the reference texts ), will have a monographic part on JURISDICTION DESIGN with particular attention to how legislative expansion or extension co-evolves with demography, technology( nowadays especially with digitization) and development within a cyclical pattern about thirty years of creative destruction that implies a constant upgrade of the forms of policies and organizational of Welfare also in relation to the territories , precisely , of jurisdiction and intervention.
