  • Learning objectives:
The course aims to provide the basic notions on welfare in Italy starting from an approach that combines the classic division by areas of intervention (pensions, work, health, social assistance) with a historical-systematic setting that highlights in particular the political dynamics in a comparative perspective and with a possible online integration. In addition, it offers 2 insights on a phenomenon that is largely unprecedented, at least in our country, such as corporate welfare, according to a systemic approach that starts from the centrality of long-term relationships and which highlights the dual objective of employee satisfaction and improvement of the image of companies in the local area and on the basis of an important example of the level of Welfare-Net of Padua, and the social doctrine of the Catholic Church on the themes of work, human association and health, understood in a meaning not purely human, but in a broader ecological sense.
